Evgeniy Shchetinkin is an architect, founder and design lead of ArchDepartment.

Starting with residential projects and private commissions in Perm, the work later developed through extensive experience in Moscow, where the focus expanded to public and commercial typologies, including collaborations with international clients and established local studios, along with a period as co-founder of a firm specialising in hospitality projects.
Now based in Almaty and working internationally, the practice spans a range of scales — from research-driven concepts and competition entries to completed buildings and interiors. The approach is grounded in careful pre-design research and the development of a project-specific design language, allowing each project to emerge as a considered response to its context, brief, and use.
The work has been recognized with multiple awards, including competition wins, and has been featured in international publications and events such as the Venice Architecture Biennale and the World Architecture Festival.
