Project: 2023-2024, Total area: 695 m2
Status: Completed

Strong Team is an emerging IT company undergoing rapid expansion and development. Their new office occupies nearly an entire floor in the Nurly-Tau Business Center.
Focused on functionality and ergonomics, the layout underwent meticulous planning, with numerous configurations carefully tested. The result is a reimagined open workspace built on a flexible approach: fixed bench seating is complemented by a variety of informal zones — hot desks, lounge niches, alcoves, meeting rooms, a coffee point, and a phone booth.
One of the most distinctive elements is the playground room, designed for games, relaxation, and focused work. A sliding partition connects it to the kitchen, allowing the space to expand effortlessly for lectures, team events, or video screenings. A corner tribune made of plywood serves a dual purpose — seating and concealed storage for foldable furniture.

Instead of a traditional reception desk with a secretary, the entrance area is conceived as an open and welcoming spatial block. A semi-transparent slatted partition subtly defines the zone, paired with soft seating in bright colors and integrated greenery, while a concealed cloakroom is discreetly positioned within the adjacent sector. What began as a simple request for a rest area evolved into a fully equipped quiet room with sleeping spaces, enabling team members to recharge in a calm and private setting.
Rounded corners in the freestanding volumes and the soft, organic geometry of interior elements create a seamless flow between zones. This approach reduces visual sharpness and fosters a more relaxed and comfortable working environment.
In the open-plan bench areas, lighting follows a previously tested and proven principle: freestanding direct–indirect floor luminaires provide both precise task illumination and a reflected ambient glow. Controlled individually — either manually or via motion sensors — they create islands of light only where needed, enhancing visual comfort while maintaining spatial flexibility.
The project palette includes hypoallergenic carpet tiles, microcement, perforated drywall, pine plywood, dichroic films, writable marker surfaces, and acoustic treatments. All materials were selected for their sustainability and cost-efficiency, resulting in a bright, modern and minimalist interior that feels both vibrant and practical.
The Strong Team office brings together functionality, comfort and a forward-looking mindset, creating a workspace that supports collaboration, well-being and the company’s continued growth.
